I’ve championed the voices and enrichment of qualify of life for people living with cancer by enabling physician investigators to receive funding for innovative cancer clinical trials. I’ve enabled and empowered the rescue and care for thousands of abandoned and neglected dogs and cats by cultivating major donor relationships and commitments. TThis isolated circumstance took place 15 years ago and served as a transformational experience for me; guiding my future both professionally and personally. While the production process of a reality TV show is scripted and edited for storyline and effect, I learned three valuable lessons: 1 - Perception is Reality. Reality TV is actually scripted, edited and influenced in real-time by production personnel - but the end result is the end result. I own my share of the responsibility for enabling the production personnel to create an inaccurate perception. Since this isolated circumstance I have always led with 100% authenticity in all aspects of my life; ensuring that perception and reality consistently align for the right reasons. 2 - Integrity is Invaluable in all forms of relationships, and integrity starts from within by ensuring that values, words and actions always line up. 2 - Business can have Purpose. All roles I’ve served in since 2002 represent businesses, brands and/or missions who strive for purposeful outcomes for customers, beneficiary families, children with disabilities, people living with cancer, rescued animals, and their communities. Business is always best when it is purposeful and I am committed to ensuring internal and external endeavors deliver on outcomes and impacts for all parties involved.
