This is an interview by TMC when I was General Manager of Qwest’s Wholesale Long Distance trading desk. In that position, I launched and managed Qwest Wholesale’s innovative long distance trading desk, creating a new sales and support model for wholesale long distance and launching a number of profitability initiatives. As a result, the Wholesale long distance trading desk increased segment income in one year by 250 percent.

I signed up for a Facebook account when I worked for Qwest Corporate Strategy and the head of Corporate Strategy wanted us all to gain more exposure to social media. The activity on my Facebook account has been very limited, and I do not actively use Facebook. I am much more active with Linked In and Repio, as I find these applications more effective for my purposes.

After leaving Ameritech in 1999 and before starting with Qwest in 2003, I worked for a start-up called CoreExpress, as well as working a number of independent consulting projects. I established Lipic Group LLC for record keeping and tax purposes for the consulting projects.
